How safe is it to travel to Koh Mook ?
Koh Mook is approximately 7 miles from the mainland. A boat ride from Kuan Tungku Pier to Koh Mook takes about 30 - 40 minutes. The boat sails in the inner sea between the mainland and Koh Mook, and equipped with life jackets. On very rare occasion that guests have to wait one or two hours for the sea to calm down for safety reason.

How is the security on the island ?
Even though the general population on Koh Mook is Thai Muslim, they are very humble and peace-loving people as mostly Thai people. Koh Mook is a small fishing village. Crime on the island is extremely rare.

Is there a hospital on the island ?
Koh Mook has a small Health Center with certified nurses. If the problem is serious, guests can take boat and bus to the nearby hospital within 1 - 1.30 hours. However, guests under medical care should take their own prescriptions.
